# $stMNT

stMNT (staked MNT) is the liquid staking derivative issued by LiQ, representing MNT staked within DeFi yield strategies. Unlike traditional staking, which requires assets to remain locked and inaccessible, stMNT offers liquidity, flexibility, and yield optimization while continuously earning rewards from DeFi deployments.
